First let me say that all is well. The battery and alternator of the 2003 Camry is not ok. We had just eaten lunch at Hank’s Place in Chadds Ford, PA after a great 2 hours at the Brandywine River Museum.( http://www.brandywinemuseum.org/) After I snapped flower photos I tried to start the car … everything was dead. Triple A sent a truck and they charged our battery, started our car and told us that we needed a new battery and that there might be a problem with the alternator. With instructions for us to go straight to the motel with no stops, they drove off. As it was 93 degrees and humidity like the rainforest I turned on the air conditioner and the lights. The engine died. Triple A came about 30 minutes later and said we needed a tow truck and a place to leave the car until tomorrow. Four hours later we have the car safely in the Triple A lot near our motel with a guarantee that they’ll do the work tomorrow. ![]()
As we arrived at our motel courtesy of the tow truck driver, Eli, another family was shaking their heads in sympathy. Yesterday their battery and alternator had died. ![]()

All is well.
