I just received an email from one of Sondra’s friends saying that Sondra had called her and that she is being moved tonight or tomorrow. She did not know where she was going.

On Saturday I received 2 letters from Sondra. Her last letter from Thailand and her first from LA. I cried when I read this paragraph about arriving in LA:

"The first night here I had my first hot shower in 5 years. I was finished in 3 min. I had to stop and start over, tell myself it was okay to stand there under the hot water and take my time. The women here complain. I only wish my friends were in here." flower
